One more variation on an Owen design. This part replaces wooden hot end component labeled 8A. I have several variations here: [UPH-01-001] Basic printable replacement for wood part 8A. [UPH-01-002] Same part with integrated Bowden clamp.(shown in photo) [UPH-01-003] Same part with two integrated Bowden clamps. [UPH-010-010] Required tapered nut for two threaded clamps. I am currently working with a non-standard hot-end design and have not been able to test these designs during actual prints, but the parts fit together well and the Bowden tube feels very secure when I pull on it. Instructions Part UPH-01-001 would can be sliced @ 0.2 mm. All threaded parts should be sliced at 0.1 mm with 0.8 mm wall. 30% fill should be enough - but not yet verified. It is important to wrap the threads with PTFE tape (used to seal pipe threads, available at hardware stores). Without the PTFE tape, the threads could be ruined. One or two wraps of PTFE tape is sufficient. Masking tape wrapped around the Bowden tube helps the barbs on the inside diameter of the male thread grip the Bowden tube. Without the tape, the tube will slide out. 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 wraps of tape is sufficient.
