The extruder is designed for ultimaker 2 or its clone machine. This design supports E3D V6 hotend, the hotend is completely inside the carriage and the cooling fan can be mounted on it the airflow is designed in such way that it doesn't flow onto print in any way it is vented through it to upward direction. It uses LM8LUU bearing. I had to replace 6mm rod with 8mm due to deflection in rod as my printer has a large print area. I printed it with below settings in simplify 3D: layer height: 0.3mm infill : 50% with support
