Ultimaker Original M6 Nozzle Holder

Ultimaker Original M6 Nozzle Holder

Another nozzle holder. Press fits onto side of Ulticontroller. Holds 6 M6 nozzles. It's a very tight fit--probably easiest to slide on from the narrow edge of the Ulticontroller side. The nozzles are also a tight fit since I figured they would become loose quite quickly. Screw them in and out a few times and they should work smoothly. I used an M6 tap on a drill, once in, once out, and that was almost too much; they're a bit loose now. This is a quick design, not perfect, but it seems to be working. The grimy-looking nozzle is the original one that came with the Ultimaker that I assembled end of 2012. It's the only nozzle I've used until a week or so ago and I never had any major problems with it. Maybe had to clean it 3 times when I tried printing with funny parameters or materials. I don't know if the hole is still 0.4mm but if not, it's hardly noticeably bigger. I've probably printed 400-600 hours? I don't know. Not every day, but quite a lot over the years. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker Original Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 70% Notes: I had a 0.6mm nozzle in when printing, although I don't think it matters that much. Temp 215, filament 2.85mm PLA, speed 60mm/s, printed on an Ultimaker Original.
