A versatile sound absorption pad specifically engineered for the Ultimaker Original and Original+. Likely adaptable for use with the UM2 as well. Notably, it prints quickly while using minimal materials. Designed using FreeCAD, refined through Meshmixer, and manufactured on an UMO+ in PLA with 0.25mm layers. Proper installation is key; ensure it's positioned on its side with the corner oriented downwards (resembling a V shape). Solid infill settings are essential for optimal performance. Four copies of this pad should be printed to maximize sound-dampening capabilities. Although high print speeds can work, moderate speed may be preferable when approaching the mid-section overhang.
