Ultimaker Original + Standoffs / Feet

Snap on these standoffs (or feet) to your Ultimaker to help keep your work surface and printer safe from scratches. They also provide enough height to mount the power supply to the bottom of the machine, reducing its overall footprint greatly. These guys are quick to print, and have been hollowed as much as possible to reduce filament consumption. They are designed with a tight tolerance to ensure they stay snapped onto the printer base when the machine is lifted. I've tested them with my Ultimaker Original +, and they fit the Original as well. I don't have access to an Ultimaker 2 or 3, but they should work the same on those families of printers as well. In order to print a set of standoffs on a SINGLE or MULTI MATERIAL printer: Download. There are two variants available - one with tight tolerances (recommended), and one with looser tolerances. Import the file into your slicer, keeping the part flat on the bed. In order to find the best fit for your printer, I recommend slicing and printing a single part to test before printing the other three required. If it's too tight to fit, choose the looser tolerance model. Slice. I used 0.200mm layer heights, but a thicker layer height would speed up print time dramatically. I used 4 top and bottom layers, and 3 perimeters, at 15% infill. Print. I used MatterHackers Build PETG. Install them. This is a very complicated step. Good luck. If you end up printing a set of standoffs, post a Make so I can see how they turned out! Or don't, and I'll be very sad for days. -Brent
