This is a cool little thing I found when I opened up Cura 15.4.02 for the first time. It can help fine-tune your 3D printer if there are any future engineers who are trying to design/make a 3D printer. UPDATE: Somehow the same thing happened like it did with the Barnacules head. The first time I opened the Ultimaker Cura software, This cool robot showed up so I decided to save the model and post it. Custom Section Project: Ultimaker Robot Objectives This project should help you be able to learn how to properly calibrate your 3D printer for simple prints and learn to use a slicing software. You should also be able to choose what kind of resolution for 3D prints. Audiences 7th grade or higher Preparation some materials needed for this project are: A 3D printer Filament Steps Download one of the two files Open file in slicing software Add necessary supports Export file to SD card Calibrate printer Print ( If you have an unsuccessful print, repeat last two steps) Results You should be able to have an accurate model of your CAD file.
