This is What you've been waiting for! The Mount for the Insta360 OneR that really protects your oneR (4K mod) on your freestyle or race quad! the lens bumper does not show up in the footage, recording light is clearly visible from the front, the screen is easy to operate (if the lipo is not in front of it) and is well protected from lipo's that want to smash into it during a crash. ` -14 nov. 2020: -V3 is online! -V3 is made to fit the Telesin ND filters (sold on many places, and alieexpress) -it fits the ND filter snugly and gives a tight grip in the corners without getting anything in view The ultimate Inssta360 OneR mount is an universal mount that will fit on most (freestyle and long range) frames. there a several choices for the mount to suit your needs! it is secured by 2 zipties, although i recommend to use a lipo strap also besides the ties. (zipties hold it in place, but when they break, the lipostrap saves the mount from ejecting) i am not a fan of bolt on solutions, since the bolt holes could shear and you'll loose the cam in a serious crash. this mounts is the result of vigorous testing and crashing hard! i hit a steel girder full speed for aham... errr..testing, just to be sure the cam survives! (broke the lens protector but not the lens, the only damage to the oneR was that it came loose from the battery base and broke one stud of the base. i have crashed cam first into a gate post, have had multiple hits with trees and tree branches, many, many ghost branches, head first crashes in the dirt, sand and rocks and the mount saved the oneR each and every time! (well.. until now at least! lol) the mount has gone through many revisions to end up like it is now, it had a slot for an ND filter in the lens protector, but i removed it for added strength. (ND holder is back though! and one for the telesin ND filters) there are 4 versions of the mount: -V3 OneR mount ND holder: this is the latest version which is made for the telesin ND filters. it is made to be printed with 85 to 95 shore TPU. -Insta OneR no slot stl: this is the file for soft TPU (95D) it has braces between the two rear walls to give it extra strength in forward/backwards motion. this is the mount i recommend for freestyle and bando ripping! once printed it might seem "floppy" but it is ment to be this way, the softness of the mount on certain places is intended to remove vibrations and jello, and give enough flex for absorbing impact forces into the tpu instead of into the camera. flowstate stabilization will work perfectly with this mount. -Insta oneR PETG: this is the file for using PETG or harder tpu versions like sainsmart tpu. it has no braces between the rear walls. this is done since Petg is way stiffer than TPU and the mount would become to rigid. this mount i recommend for long range cruising, cinematic flights and if you have trouble printing soft TPU. it does not offer the same protection as the tpu mount as it sends more forces of an impact through to the camera. but it can still handle some serious abuse before it will let anything damage the camera! this mount filters out less harmonic vibrations from props/motors and frame, so with a serious damaged prop/motor you will get jello. -oneR dutchcommando.stl: the same as the TPU version, but with my name, if you want to show some love towards the one who made this epic mount! printing should be done on the left side of the mount (looking at the front of the mount) or check the picture. supports should be everywhere. infill for the tpu version is 23% Cubic for shore 95D TPU, this is tested to gives the best results for protection and vibration filtering on multiple of airframes and sizes. infill for the Petg version is 20% triangles to give the best results for protection and vibration filtering on multiple of airframes and sizes. but not as good as the TPU version though. you can experiment with the infill % suiting your particular PETG brand, since there are a lot of different stiffness grades in brands.
