This is a robot, nicknamed "Ultron," built for the fall 2015 Robotathon competition, an introduction to robotics run by The University of Texas at Austin IEEE Robotics & Automation Society. It is designed to pick up and store ping pong balls and marbles, then score them in opposite goals in a 6' octagonal field. Ultron won the competition and was also awarded best mechanical design and best overall. A video of the final match is at https://youtu.be/ebt6csuU3t4?t=10s.
