this band fits over the intake where the air bottle screws in. it is a much more stable mount. You have to grind slots into the stock fore grip (10mm x 5mm) just in front of the mount screws. I used a dremel with the sander drum. The bottom should fit around the intake snug, using same dremel, Remove material from upper part of bottom hole (as needed) to keep barrel from being too high an elevation. i tapped the band on with screwdriver handle. ***top hole fits over shroud very snug**** you MUST take the front nut off to slide it on, it wont go over it. With this band, i haven't had a poi change any more. updated 12/1/20; added more pics to show stock mod
