Umbra Paper Towel Holder

My design focuses on two concepts: simplicity and functionality. This holder is comprised of two parts that lock into each other by means of a very simple snap mechanism. It uses a minimal amount of material and the form is very straightforward. The large tabs extending from either side can be used as an edge to rip pieces of paper towel off with, but they also allow the user to place the product on its side. The user can choose which way they want to orient the holder, promoting a wide range of functions in a very simple form. The form fits in well with the simplicity and modernity of other Umbra designs. It can be made with almost any plastic, preferably ABS.
