Under cabinet mount for Echo Show 8

Under cabinet mount for Echo Show 8

thingiverse

I wanted to mount my Echo Show 8 under my kitchen cabinet and I couldn't find anything commercial or even here on Thingiverse, so I decided to make my own. The bottom is angled so that the screen on the device is perpendicular to the surface that it is mounted to. You could decrease the amount of drop depending on your preference of how much of a lip is on your cabinet face, or if you don't want access to the buttons on top of the device. I put 4 holes in the top of the bracket so that you can mount it to the cabinet. I decided to try to use a couple of those 3M strips that holds 4 pounds each and it is working well so far. I don't have an Echo Show 5, but it might work with that as well (especially if you reduce the amount of drop). I can share the Inventor file if there is enough interest in it. Feel free to share any photos of your mount if you make it, I would love to see the tweaks that are made to the design. Hope you find the design useful.
