The original probe protectors of the UNI-T UT18C test lamps consist of 2 durable plastic sleeves that fit snugly into a flexible rubber sheath (as shown). Unfortunately, these hard plastic sleeves vanished on day two of owning the device, and the rubber sheath was easily pierced just a few days later. To make matters worse, it wouldn't stay in place without the protective plastic sleeves. In response to this problem, I created a solution that allows for easy attachment to the device using a flexible rubber band that can be cut to any desired length. This band is then secured to the protector with a clever hidden knot that makes removal a breeze if needed.
