https://youtu.be/DDVomb_PpwQ Can't decide whether to drive your r/c car or fly your r/c quadcopter? Why not do both on the same battery? This is a clip-on flying unicycle mount for the Mobula 6 quadcopter. It's light enough that you'll still be able to fly between your various driving locations on a single battery. Attaching to Mobula 6 frame: -Apply pressure to the underside of the unicycle mount, where the horizontal bands are located. You'll notice that the mount attachment will bend outwards. Slide the mount onto the rail underside of the Mobula 6, and stop applying pressure to the underside of the mount. The mount should snap into place. -Slide the rod into the TPU wheel. You'll need to apply a fair amount of pressure. -Snap the wheel and rod into the conical-shaped indents on the bottom of the mount. -Finally, slide your battery into position and power on. -To remove, follow the directions for attaching the frame in reverse. Do not pull the mount off without applying pressure to the underside, causing the rails to flex outward and disengage. Failing to do so can damage the quadcopter's frame. That's it! The mount is designed to easily be added to and removed from the frame when you want to change between regular quadcopter behavior. Note: the springs used for suspension are designed to be redundant. For the PLA I've used, I find that cutting two of the four on each side results in an optimal ride while not causing the quadcopter to bounce into the air when attempting to land. Unicycle Controls: -After arming, keep the throttle turned all the way down while you want to drive. -Pitch forward is forward, pitch back is backwards. -Left/right: use the yaw left/right. I've found roll to not be a great option for this type of wheel because it unbalances it too much. -When landing the unicycle, it's best to come in totally level. Correcting as you're touching down is a recipe for a crash. Printing: -The only part of the mount that definitely needs support is directly under the clip. The wheel and rod will print fine without any supports. -The wheel is designed to be printed with a TPU filament. I used Sainsmart brand 95A for my wheels.
