I was posting some mail one day and the post office was closed. But they had the outdoor Mailbox drop off boxes outside in the parking lot. So I thought I would model one of these. Design is based on a picture (enclosed) and the size is an approximation based on visual appearance since I didn't have a tape measure handy, but I am probably not too far off. I also show how I think the inside mechanics might be of how the mail retrieval and letter deposit door function works based on a hunch what I could visually see which wasn't much.
