Looking for a special fitting? Simply customize one by yourself with these OPENSCAD designs. You can generate any combination of inner thread, outer thread and nozzle adapters. Currently the following thread-types are supported: M(Metric), G(BSP), PCO-1881, UNC, UNF, UNEF, 4-UN, 6-UN, 8-UN, 16-UN, 20-UN, 28-UN, 32-UN *How to get it working:* 1) Grab and install OPENSCAD from https://www.openscad.org/ 2) Download all files from here. 3) Start OPENSCAD and open the library folder by clicking "File - Show Library Folder". 4) Unpack the contents of libraries.zip into this folder. 5) Open the appropriate Adapter file. *How to use:* The parameters on the right are pretty self explaining - I think. Set the parameters to get the fitting to your liking. Then press F6 to render it. Now you can export it using the menu "File - Export - Export as STL" to use it in your slicer. **Important:** There is one parameter that I'd like to explain a bit: The corrector param in the General Parameters section. The program is based on nominal measures of standard threads. The corrector param allows you to reduce the thread height. If you have a perfectly calibrated ultra-high layer resolution SLS or SLA 3D-printer then the corrector param should be set to 0 resulting in a thread of normative measures. But as the vast majority, like myself, just has a FDM-Printer, threads printed with normative measures (corrector=0) won't fit because of low layer resolution, overextrusion, slicing parameters and material flow while cooling. Therefore you have to reduce the thread height a bit to your printer capabilities. In my case I have to reduce the thread height by 0.15 mm so I have set this as a default value. I'd suggest you print out one piece where you have a matching counterpart, let it cool down and try to match them. If the connection is too loose, reduce the corrector - if it is too tight increase it. Once you have found the right corrector value for your printer, you can set it as default for all Adapter.scad files. hope it useful to you! Update V0.3: - All supported threads are now listed in a drop-down-list to avoid input of unsupported thread specs. The downside of this is that the list is quite large with more than 900 entries. - Removed Thingiverse app support because this thing is using OpenSCAD libraries and the customizer doesn't support that.
