<p>Made this plate to adapt a <a href="https://smile.amazon.com/Zixtec-LM2596-Converter-Module-1-25V-30V/dp/B07VVXF7YX?pd_rd_w=zCYGW&amp;pf_rd_p=5bc65336-a8b0-4888-9e70-4d4ce2f6bd59&amp;pf_rd_r=3KZRTNXQJ48CPTPCFJ6P&amp;pd_rd_r=3c39cb10-d3b4-4f0a-b4e1-15408148b3aa&amp;pd_rd_wg=9Cn8p&amp;pd_rd_i=B07VVXF7YX&amp;psc=1&amp;ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_62_i">buck converter</a> for powering a pi into the Universal Einsy Box by Juan Puchol <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3901001">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3901001</a> in place of a mosfet. I didn't trust the added current draw for the pi through the Rambo's pi header, and also wanted to ensure that all the power protection circuitry in the pi was not bypassed. </p><p>Prints well with most materials, 0.20mm layer height and holes are sized for M3x0.5 heat set inserts and mounts with 3 x M3 flat head screws. I used short brass standoffs and nylon M3 cap head screws to mount the buck converter. The Nylon was to guarentee no conductive contact through the screw. Simply tied IN to 24VDC from the power supply connection on the Rambo and OUT to a cut down USB-C cable to power the pi underneath. I have this on two custom printer builds now and have had no complaints for the first 3 months of operation.</p><p> </p>
