Update 4/21/16 : V3 is much more robust. I have not personally had an issue printing V2, but I foresee some people will, mostly involving the fragility of the retainer clips. My friends always leave their phones with cables hanging from the wall, adding to the clutter and risking damage. This simple device is designed to be supported by the outlet prongs (US/120VAC) in an attempt to be universal for all phones. You will also note the ability to hang from outlets that are transposed 90 deg. The large loop is for cable retention. The best part of this design, is the profile. The lateral footprint will be less than most power supplies, so there really is a measurable space usage reduction. The support center-line was designed to hold a large phone (In this case, my Galaxy Mega 6.3, Galaxy SIII pictured), while still allowing use of smaller phones, with a thickness to be determined. This should be perfectly safe with phone screens, cases, and there should be no problems with electricity. It's up to the person printing to ensure there is no risk of electric shock. Please see 'Print Settings' for more notes. Print Settings Printer: Scalar Custom Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: As you see fit Notes: Print this with light supports, preferably touching bed only. I am printing this with PLA, which may be a bit brittle for the flexible parts, but should do fine with care, and should not damage a screen. I would not print this with translucent PLA, as it tends to be the most brittle, in my experience. I would advise using a heated bed, as well, and allowing it to fully cool before removal. Resolution is optional, I designed this with the intent of printing @ 0.2mm. This should be obvious, but, NO CONDUCTIVE MATERIALS! How I Designed This 123D Design Digital Micrometer A LOT of guess and check
