Universal Respirator Remix / Paracord / M3 Threaded Insert

This remix is designed for using paracord instead of elastic band. Elastic band is difficult to source with the current pandemic. As well, the design makes use of M3 4mm threaded screw inserts. After using the original design the nuts from the original M3 screw would randomly pop off and get lost. Big thanks to 3D handyman. I printed numerous designs for a 3d printed mask. His was the best one. I have incorperated MERV 13 HVAC for filtration and sealed up the mask for micropores. There is a layer of cotton fabric on the inside and outside. I am an ER nurse and PPE supplies are tight and the QC for the supplies we do have are sketchy because many of the provided masks fall apart when put on. I have had this design fit tested at my job and it provided a degree of protection well past the non-N95 masks. It is also very comfortable to wear during a 12 hour shift. There is a degree of moisture buildup on the inside but I prefer not to place an exhalation valve as that would compromise the intended effect of the mask.
