This antenna tube mount has two awesome features: 1. The antenna tube touches the standoff so the recesses in the latter cut into the tube plastic. That, combined with the tension created when pushing the mount down the standoff makes it grip the antenna tube extremely firmly and does not allow the whole thing to rotate around the standoff. 2. There is a carefully designed slit at the back of the mount that you stick the antenna cable through which holds the cable in place. That part makes it possible to position the cable perfectly so it does not stick out to get chopped by the props or slide back into the frame body. The antenna just stays in place, "pinched" by the mount. The mount requires the usage of knurled 5 mm standoffs and works with both Forever tubes and regular 3 mm tubes. Both thin (R-XSR style) and thick (XM+ style) antenna cables are supported, the latter requiring a little bit more effort to push through the "cable pinching end" of the mount. There are two versions of the mount, having 30 and 45 degrees of tube tilt angle. 30 degrees mount works well for racing application as show on the pictures, while 45 degrees one can be used to point the antennas up and to the sides on a freestyle top-mount quad. There is also a low profile version of a 30 degrees mount with standoff sleeve height of 7mm. Instructions: 1. Print the selected mount (contains two pieces). 2. Measure and cut the antenna tubes. 3. Slide the antenna tubes into the printed mounts. Make sure they go all the way up until they touch the "cable pinching end" at the back of the mount. 4. Slide the mounts with the tubes installed on the standoffs. It will require some effort since the tubes will be sort of in the way, but that's exactly how it is designed to be. 5. Push the antenna cables through the back sides of the mounts. Be careful not to bend them too much. Slight twisting action could help getting the first millimetres through. You can also use a pointy object to stretch the entry a bit if the cable does not want to go in. 6. Enjoy the nice clean build with RX antennas staying where you put them, fully protected. If you print these, please consider posting a make. I enjoy seeing things I designed out in the wild.
