Universal Smartphone Tripod Adapter

Sometimes you need to take a picture or a video of yourself but from a more distant point of view. You've got a tripod for your camera but can't use it with your iPhone/Galaxy/SmartPhone/Whatever. This thing will work it out for most of your smartphones and most of the situations. I've tested it with my 5.41 inches HTC One mobile phone and 2 different tripods - it works flawlessly. Note : I'd recommend to put your mobile phone horizontally in it, but if you need to turn it vertically, then I've added some vertical guides at the center - what improves a bit the global stability. Instructions You can simply build it with your MakerBot Replicator 2.0 printer with high resolution. It should take more time but will improve the way your tripod will be plugged in the base hole. Some small artifacts and irregular PLA hair should be visible on the surface of the object, that you should remove and slightly sand before inserting any mobile phone inside. Note : some small holes have been added at the bottom of this thing, to minimize warping / curling during the printing process.
