The idea to use the thread to hold the two side parts together inspired me to make this spool holder that uses the thread and 608 bearings. You can use this spool holder for spools with a * diameter: >50mm and < 80mm * width: >55mm and <80mm With a longer thread it is possible to use it with wider spools. I also added the source FreeCAD files for you.
