UPDATE: Placed all parts flat and in one file.

*alligator clip not included

First i need to say that the original design of the stage is made by Johan J.Ingles-Le Nobel and you can check the links below for more details:

http://extreme-macro.co.uk/universal-stage/

https://www.flickr.com/photos/jingleslenobel/8077908674/in/dateposted-public/

I saw the design and liked it, so i made a printable 3D model.

The things i changed:

It has a threaded sphere which you can slide up and down on the smaller arm without magnets and tighten it in place by twisting the threaded pin that goes on the other side of the sphere. In order to attach something you can place a needle into the threaded pin or glue the pin to alligator clip and screw it in the sphere(as you can see the example in the last photo) you can also try to use regular metal M5 screw.

More details and tips on how to use the stage:

The holes are M5 so you can improvise as much as you want with the mounting of the stage and specimen you want to photograph.

The stage attaches to a base and you can glue M5 nut and screw it to the base or use the provided bit(with thread at the end) and glue that to the bottom of the largest arm(but it breaks fairly easy that's why i separated it).

In order to tighten the arms and hold them in place you can use regular M5 screws and nuts. The spacers can be used instead of nut/washer in the middle of the arms.

The sphere is cut in 3 parts to make the printing easier.
