This is the Universal Tweeter Pod. This was designed so it could be mounted either on the dash board of a vehicle or mounted on the A pillar. You can mount with a 3mm screw so it can be rotated for optimum tweeter positioning or simply use 3M tape to attach it. there is a slot in the back of the foot so speaker cable may be passed through the base of the foot or it can be passed directly through the sole of the foot depending on how you wish to mount it. There is enough room in the rear of the pod so you can leave some slack in the speaker cable to make wiring the tweeter easier, once wired the tweeter can be simply pushed into the pod without too much bunching of the cable. This mounts perfectly on the existing dash speaker grill in an Audi A4 B8K giving you the ability to create a very high end 3 way speaker setup Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 5% Notes: 4 Top layers 4 Bottom Layers 3 outer Layers printer on Glass with ABS (remember it gets hot on the dash !) ABS or PETG will be best. This was a 3 hour print with reasonable support added. Support needs to be fine so edges of the foot are crisp and welded together. Post-Printing Printing Best to print this on it's face, you will need to rotate it forward 115 deg. support is required! so it doesn't sag internally on the roof and supports the foot. In the picture a Hybrid Audio Legatia VI Special Edition Pro 1 tweeter is installed. A blank STL has also been supplied so you can cut out the desired hole to suit your tweeter.
