Universal USB A-Type male plug housing for thick and thin cables

In one of my projects, I decided to use a thick vintage cord in a fabric jacket to connect the device with 5V power supply. The power supply had a standard USB A-Type port. Unfortunately, the cable hole in the standard USB A-Type plug turned out to be too narrow for my perfect cable. I was forced to design and 3D print my own case to USB A Type plug. As a side effect of this operation, I was able to select a more interesting color for my plug housing which goes well with the selected cable. The whole thing turned out so well that I decided to share this project here - maybe it will be useful to someone. My plug cover is dedicated to cords with a diameter of about 5.5-6 mm. Before sharing I decided to introduce two improvements into this mini-project to make it more universal. The project contains two versions of the USB A Type plug covers: - Intended for gluing - Intended for bolting Additionally, it contains three adapters which allow using plug cover not only with 5.5-6 mm diameter cables but also together with cables with other diameters: - 5 mm - 4 mm - 3 mm Details have been presented in the attached pictures. The project contains seven STL files. To build a glued version of the plug you need a standard USB A-Type male plug and Super Glue. To build a bolted version beside a standard USB A-Type male plug you need an M3x9 mm bolt and M3 hexagonal nut.
