Unmatched Board Game Cases

Unmatched Board Game Cases

**Summary** This is an organization and storage solution for the Unmatched board game. It is designed for those who do not have their cards sleeved. If you want sleeved versions of these cases, see my other design [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4582432). Each character from the game has its own storage box measuring 109 × 95 × 30mm. (The Raptors have two cases, because they are too big for one). Each case contains all of the pieces required for that character. The optional case cover prevents cards from falling out and snaps into place. 12 character cases fit into the large-sized (4-character) box along with two large-sized game boards. 2 character cases fit into the small-sized (2-character) box along with two small-sized game boards and all of the instruction manuals. This allows all of the Unmatched characters (as of August 2020) to fit into only two boxes. Everything fits very snug. You may need to slightly sand out the space for the fighter tokens to make them fit. In my print, they fit in snug enough to not fall out when held upside down. The fighter minis snap into place in each case. Some (i.e., Alice, Dr. Jekyll, Dracula, Invisible Man, Medusa, Sherlock) can be inserted straight into the case. The rest need to be rotated slightly to clip into place. This takes a very long time to print. Each case (×14) took me about 9 hours. The divider took me 16 hours. The optional case covers each take about an hour. In total, I spent over a week printing this. The final weight of the large case is 5.5lbs or 2.5kg. The small case weighs 2.2lbs or 1.0kg. But, if you want an elegant and space-saving solution to store your Unmatched characters, there is no better solution. I will continue to update these models as more characters are released. **Update: 08-Feb-2021** I just finished designing and printing the cases for the Little Red & Beowulf expansion and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer expansion! Thanks to everyone who offered support and followed up with me on this project. It has been a fun thing to keep up! Let me know if you need anything else!
