it’s finally here the updated designs for the TMC, with some improvements so the shrouds are stronger then the ones from the past. and it’s more easy to adapt them to other barrel size. with the help of the rings in the front. so the shroud can get some support from the barrel. also the mounting pins in the back are now removable. so in case they break then it’s a small part to replace also the print orientation is better in this direction then when it would have been 1 piece with the shroud. also it will cut a bit on supports. the rings in the front makes it also possible with some shroud options to play around with different fronts for a different look. there are basically 2 sizes of hand guards. both of them will fit on a ender3 printed. full length models 227mm (8.937 inch) TMC handguard 2022 TMC MP5 shroud the short models 163mm (6.417 inch) TMC handguard 2022 Shorty TMC handguard AK short 2022 TMC handguard AK short 2022 rail TMC MP5 shroud Shorty Video Links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pi25dhrf5l4 materials needed: for front “AK” Iron sight 1x m3 bolt 16mm long 1x m3 Nut for gasblock 1x m3 bolt 16mm long 1x m3 Nut for shroud 1x m3 bolt 20mm long 1x m3 bolt 16mm long print settings: 0.2 layer hight should be fine. you can use the 8 layer walls and a 40% infill. but personally I moved a bit over to solid prints just to give it more strength in case things go wrong on the field…
