#A better UP mini 2 spool holder Having run through the small amount of spool holders for the UP mini 2 I couldn't find any that sat neatly on top and didn't add to the width to the printer. Not only that, but the friction was high on the mounts that I had played with. I had feed issues with some of the 100% 3D printed options and bearings always seem overkill to me for this task. **My requirements were:** Needed to be printable on the Up Mini 2, use minimal material, clip onto the handle of the printer and unclip easily for transport, have low friction for better printing and no feed issues. It should fit all common filament rolls. After a dozen or so prototypes I settled on the above combination which uses an M10 bolt about 130mm long with either a Cup head or Hex head (both work). In addition to my mount base I've included two models that complete the package and were things well designed by others that I wasn't going to top in a hurry. One is the universal spool holder and the other is a guide to line up the filament with the back of the up mini. This does away with the need for the PTFE tube that comes with the printer. 1.
