Up! Plus+ Build Platform Sliding Track
thingiverse
To ensure smooth extrusion without obstacles from screws or binder clips, slide your build platform into place using the maintenance tool. This design eliminates Gekko board warping, enabling a flatter platform that can easily slide when heated. If you experience offset layers in prints, consider using a binder clip instead of the provided plastic one. You'll need seven M3x6 button head screws for assembly. Before printing, test-fit your parts to ensure proper alignment. Before powering up the printer, install the tracks and lift the platform to the top. Check for any friction caused by the tracks; if needed, sand down their sides for clearance. Modify the files as necessary for a perfect fit. For stronger platforms, wipe with acetone but allow 48 hours of drying time before installation. The updated files provide alternative front clips that snap on and thinner side clips for easier printing and better clearance.
