My FCC was flexing and caused a breakage in the internal wires, so it would not print in the extreme front left part of the table. This modified part held the cable in a position where the broken wire would still contact and function until my replacement cable arrived- approx 3 weeks and dozens pf printed parts later. After replacing the cable, I kept this modified cover in place to reduce the cable flexing too sharply and the problem recurring again.
