UPDATED VERSION This one gives a bit more room for the fan and allows the heater block wires to come out the back and not get pinched. This will allow you to use a E3D V6 and Titan extruder on your FFCP ( NOT TESTED ON OTHER MACHINES) Used a pancake stepper motor as a standard one hits the back of the machine but you can tape a block on the left Y carriage to hit the end stop if you want. In S3D set your offsets to 7.50 and -7.50 as per the picture. Up your extraction rates by about x3.3 I use 3.60-3.70 for ABS now Remember to either wire the new motor so it turns the other way or set that in the firmware with RelicatorG Feed the heater and thermo wired through the hole on the left then use a cable tie to hold them in place. The clip goes on first at the back to stop the block moving, put the 2 small spacers (PEG) in the gaps on the carriage and place the mount on top. ( I stuck my spacers on) I also printed 2 more to act as washers/clamps on the top. I have a filament rack above my printers so the feed is straight in from above. I will add pictures later. If anyone could make a cooling fan that aligned with the new nozzle that would be good. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 75% Notes: It has to be quite strong so ABS or PETG Supports may be needed for the big hole ( PLA won't handle the heat from the motor and hot end) Work in progress so there might be changes
