A Simple yet Effective Face for the Wanhao I3. The new slightly rounded face edges are a welcome change, while the angled bottom aligns perfectly with the control box below. A closed bottom version is also included for those who prefer it that way. The face features a nice angle, and when combined with the fan backplate, it helps direct air out of the face, cooling the display as it exits. Only three screws are needed to secure this sturdy face plate in place. To assemble the face, follow these instructions: Set your printer to 0.2 layer height and 40% infill, and print one shell. Once printing is complete, grasp the faceplate firmly and push the rearward-facing button from the backside outward until it touches the body of the printer. Hold this position for a few seconds while warming up the button surface with a blow dryer or lighter, just long enough to loosen the mechanism. Keep holding until the button has cooled down - running under cold water will speed up the process. This slight adjustment creates enough clearance between the push button and the stop button, making it easier to activate the push button, which is ever so slightly protruding from the faceplate surface.
