Upgraded Feet for Makerbot Replicator 2 / 2X
thingiverse
I'm rebuilding an old Makerbot Replicator 2 printer. To get it running, I need new feet - it's missing three out of four. The original ones are still available from Makerbot, but at $6 each, I decided to make my own since they're essentially Plastidip feet. This design is how I think Makerbot should have done it from the start. It fits snugly onto the leg and stays in place thanks to friction. I've given it enough height so that it fits firmly and doesn't budge. I've also added a sturdy support area where you can attach a rubber pad for extra grip on your workbench. Find four 1-inch adhesive rubber pads at your local big-box hardware store and stick them to the bottom of these feet.
