Upgraded Holder for 24COB leds for Racing Drones
thingiverse
A revised design, version 2 of my initial concept, optimized for flat printing. This iteration addresses strength concerns associated with vertically printed parts. Electric wires are intended to be routed through small holes, providing a clear path for connection. Following hot glue application, this modification resolves durability issues. I am also including a JST universal plug, designed to be printed from two distinct parts. Printers can utilize any desired material. After soldering the wires, apply hot glue to the pins (combining insulation and strength) before assembling both components. Some users have suggested printing the JST plug undersized (97%) using TPU, which would enhance durability while offering a snug fit for the JST parallel connector. Due to heat sensitivity, it is recommended to print this design from PETG or ABS. PLA can also be used, but annealed PLA may provide even better results. If annealing PLA, consider increasing part size by 2% due to shrinkage.
