Replacement Filament Guide (Upper) for my New Matter MOD-t. The nuts that hold the guide in place broke off and I decided to build a replacement myself. Not sure if using a PLA replacement part with PLA filament will be OK or not, but since it's far from the hot-end, it should essentially be OK. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/ljxu98FltJJ Print Settings Printer: NewMatter MOD-t Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.05 Infill: 100 Notes: I have yet to test it over a longer period of time. It should do as a temporary replacement though until I get the proper replacement in ABS. Since the piece is quite small, you might be better off by using Rafts when printing. It should help with the supports and the piece sticking in place. Also, I disabled the nozzle lift setting, which resulted in a much better (but still not perfect) finish of the small edge on the top. I printed with a rather slow printing speed (20mm/s) Post-Printing Finish Depending on your Filament, print quality and more, you might have to use a sharp knive or sand paper to finish the part. Two things are crucial: The filament must easily pass through the guide (pay attention to the small edge at the bottom) The hinges might need some tuning to fit as nicely and snuggly into the holes of the extruder enclosure.
