The most famous camera of all time? Maybe. Certainly the most expensive ever sold. If you have a 35mm camera, this is where it all started back in 1914. "The Ur-Leica of 1914 represents a milestone in photographic history. It is the prototype for the first line of cameras that used film in the 24 x 36mm format. This format became the 35mm standard for photographic film and modern full-frame camera sensors – named after the width of 24 x 36mm film including the perforations. Using 35mm film instead of the earlier large photographic plates made it possible to produce cameras that were much smaller and more portable, and, thus, greatly facilitated outdoor photography and handheld shooting." https://www.apotelyt.com/photo-camera/leitz-ur-leica https://www.apotelyt.com/photo-camera/leica-auctions This is only a work -in-progress and will be redesigned for finer and more detail. It deserves it. It was printed in Carbon Fibre (Black parts) and Silk PLA (Brass parts). Use something like cotton bud sticks for the viewfinder hinges. Photos to come when the light gets better - tomorrow 21st Feb. If you decide to print this give it the best you can :-) Updated design soon as I can find time but for now it's just ok but needs to be better. Awful problems uploading to Thingiverse so I might switch to another site if I continue to have issues. Printed using my Hot End Cooler https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4163014
