This is a 3D printable US Army/Air Force officer collar insignia. US Army officers used these in black during WW1 They were worn in gold from WW2 up to the present day. USAF officers wear silver pins. I have modeled these off of an original and I scaled these to be 100% the original size. I recommend using pin backs on this if you're going to pin it to something.
