US Coin Tubes with Threaded Cap and Funnel

Coin containers with threads for US currency. Containers for silver dollars and half dollar pieces are included in the scad file, but untested. Also includes funnels that friction fit over the threads for quick installation and removal. Works with ABS and PLA, but PETG isn't quite rigid enough for this unless you really increase the thickness of the walls. I have been using these for about six months and have dropped them, fully loaded, many times without breaking in both ABS and PLA. I suggest printing the quarters tube with only one shell at 100% infill. My slicer was leaving a gap in between the circular shells causing breakage. Advantages of this design. 1. Lid is not friction fit. The threads, when tightened, will not release. 2. Containers with lids will not roll. 3. Hole in the bottom and top prevents coins getting stuck when you accidentally jam the wrong denomonation in. The hole will fit a common Bic pen. 4. Friction fit funnels are great for quick filling. I included a batch file for building the different parts for a reason. Openscad takes a long time to render the threads on these tubes. The threaded caps will actually lock up the GUI, and should not be rendered in the GUI. On my machine, which is a somewhat recent laptop, rendering all the tubes, caps and funnels takes around an hour. Special thanks to the original author who gave me a good starting point on this, and the author of the threading library. original: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2136814 thread library https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2664046
