USB-C Desktop Charger Holder

USB-C Desktop Charger Holder

I use a Uwell Calliburn G2S vaporizer pen. It has a USB-C charger port on the bottom. It works better if the device stays upright during charging. I bought a USB-C right-angle adapter from Amazon, but it was very difficult to get it to stay standing upright. The adapter is round on the bottom, and is very unstable while sitting on my desk. I designed this device to make it easier to charge my vape pen and keep it upright during charging. To use this adapter, after printing the part, place the right-angle adapter inside with the USB-C connector sticking out the top. Connect a charging cable to the back of the adapter and you are ready to go. The adapter should stick out by about a quarter of a millimeter to make it easier to connect a USB-C charger cable. The adapter I used is this part from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2NJ3P3L I printed this part using build-supports on the build plate in PrusaSlicer. You may be able to print this part without supports, but I didn't bother trying it. You should be able to use this to charge anything that has a USB-C port on the bottom of it that you want to keep upright. Nothing in the design is specific to the vape pen, and I will be printing another one to keep my Nintendo Switch Lite charged upright without a dock. Part was designed and built in AutoDesk Fusion 360. I am including the full source file and STEP for remixes. Please feel free to use this for remixes or whatever else you want. This is being released fully public domain without any restrictions.
