Sometimes I run out of USB ports and I need to swap a device from the back of the computer. I was tired of guessing which black usb cable went to what so I made some cable clips that can be clipped onto the cable. Sure, you still have to memorize what clip "1" goes to, but at least there is a unique way to identify it now. Instructions I printed it out raftless on the Thing-O-Matic. There are two files, the one labeled "4 larger clips", has a wider mouth opening and is for fatty USB cables, like the silver shielded ones that come with the TOM.
