It appears that many promotional or budget USB drives use the same USB component, paired with a novelty or cumbersome attachment. In my wife's company, for example, they were inserted into a stretchy bracelet - which was useless. I removed the USB part and crafted a low-profile case featuring a keychain loop. However, due to using FullCure 835 (Objet) material, the case slightly stretched over time, allowing the drive to slip out. A dab of Cyanoacrilate (superglue) resolved this issue. Additionally, you can customize the design in Solidworks by adding your initials to the suppressed Cut feature at the bottom of the tree. The model also includes a suppressed snap-lock that fits specific USB types with a slot in the metal, further enhancing personalization options.
