USB Powered Vacuum

USB Powered Vacuum

thingiverse

This is my attempt at making a USB vacuum cleaner for my office desk and keyboard. I used a 5 volt radial fan from an old laptop as that is what i had laying around. It hasn't got the worlds best suction but for what I want it for it is ok. Everything apart from the fan, usb lead and 2 small self tapping screws is printable and simply pushes together. It should push together with a snug fit but may need a bit of a sand in a couple of spots if its a bit too snug. For the filter, I use a small bit of nylon stocking stretched over the filter retainer. The stocking screen is held in place by the small clearance between the filter housing and the retainer. I hope this comes in handy to anyone willing to try making their own.
