This USB to D-battery adapter was originally designed to be used in the Hot Wheels Booster but can be used on any 3v/4.5v battery configuration (2-3 D-batteries) devices. Parts: - Printed Parts - DC-DC Buck Converter Adjustable Power Step Down Module ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQGMOKI ) - USB-A to bare wire ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y5RKMT8 ) - Short pieces of Wire (Red/Black) [output wire] - (2x) M3x6mm Button Head Cap Screw - (1x) M8x55mm Hex Bolt - (1x) M8x14mm Button Head Cap Screw - (1x) M8x10mm Hex Bolt - (3x) M8 Hex Nut Notes: - Buck Converter needs to be hooked up to a 5v DC power supply to set the output. Use a multi-meter to adjust the potentiometer on the board down to <=3.3v DC output. - Hooking the output wires to the bolts. Hook the positive output to the M8x14mm BHCS and the negative output to the M8x10mm Hex Bolt. - To connect the output wires to the bolts, I just wrap a bare section of the wire under the head of the Button head and under the nut of the hex bolt. - The M8x55mm Bolt and pass-through housing is just used as a pass through the fill the void of the second D-battery. --- Post if you have any issues.
