When I have to print very tall thing, I usually cut it in the middle and add screws to the both ends. Then after printing, I can put them together very easily. I think this screw is very useful. Instructions When you make a female screw with 3D CAD enlarge the size by 10 % for X axis and Y axis, so that the screws are tighten easily. When ABS, I usually apply some acetone or enamel remover to the both screw before tightening. it will make permanent connection.
