Useless box (dc motor gearbox version)

thingiverse

This inexpensive machine, driven by a DC motor and gearbox, is a popular hands-on project at our makerspace workshops and events. The design is credited to Thingiverse user Inouk, slightly adjusted for laser cutting purposes. To build it, require 363 x 173 mm material thickness of 3mm. The Bill of Materials (BOM) can be found here: http://wiki.nybi.cc/index.php/MostUselessMachine (costing around €56 for 10 machines). "Doigt-v5" version has a flag to accommodate cheap microswitches without metal levers, whereas the standard version is designed for traditional microswitches.
