This is a model of the trammel of Archimedes. If a pen were placed at the handle, would make a perfect ellipse. Oddly satisfying to watch. Haven't printed yet, I imagine a standard infill for the base, slider, and screws and perhaps a higher (20%) for the handle. Really want to see someone make it. PRINT 1 body PRINT 1 handle PRINT 3 sliders PRINT 3 "bolts" Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: Around 20% infill, parts may need sanding for final fit, bolts need glue to hold in place in assembly. I suggest printing at a 25% scale.
