Created from scans of the original blueprints, this model was printed and tested in a wind tunnel at 1:144 scale at the University of New Hampshire. The surfaces are not perfect, but should be close enough to compare with previous generations of submarines, which were not very hydrodynamic. The USS Albacore now sits in Portsmouth, NH as a museum open to the public.
