University of St. Thomas students worked on this semester long 3DP project sponsored by Stratasys Education- The students created a mechanical motion machine only possible through additive manufacturing. It moves a marble through a myriad of mechanisms with just one main component that articulates via an external motor. The (1) motor turns the gear, (2) the gear turns a piston, and (3) the piston pushes the weight and displays many exciting twists and turns.
