State, County: WY, Natrona This specimen was found on Federal Land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Taxonomy: Reptilia>Thecodontia>Rauisuchidae>Heptasuchus clarki Heptasuchus clarki was a species of pseudosuchian reptile from the Triassic of modern-day North America. Pseudosuchians are closely related to dinosaurs and pterosaurs, differing only in how their ankles function. The only modern group of Pseudosuchians that exist are crocodilians.
