This is a cricothyroidotomy trainer that I have designed with a tissue like posterior laryngeal/tracheal wall, capable of being cannulated or damaged by a scalpel. This is achieved by setting store bought agar in removable cartridge that sits in a neck unit. In this second version, subcutaneous tissue and bleeding can also be achieved by using a home made blood pack. Please see the attached PDF for instructions. Please feel free to print out and try this new trainer. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated for the next version.
