Funnel-shaped deformation of the chest
The method of treatment using a vacuum dome has become quite widespread in the world. The essence of the method is that a vacuum suction cup is installed over the deformation, which gradually makes the chest more mobile and, over time, the deformation decreases. The method is more effective in children and adolescents with non-rigid (mild) deformities.
If you wish, you can make a vacuum bell yourself at home

Apparatus for the treatment of pectus excavatum
If someone has the desire, time and access to a 3D printer, then I can help with manufacturing, explain how to do it and give files for 3D printing, as well as links to all components in Ukraine (in other countries you will pick up analogues). Now there are tested (passed the manufacturing stage) files for the dome with a contact spot diameter of 100mm (for a child 6 years old), 110mm (10 years old), 120mm, in all domes the diameter of the cuff in working condition is 50-60mm larger, which ensures a smooth fit and soft adjustment vacuum.
I dropped some files to Anton, you can ask him for manufacturing technology as well.
The shape of the bell did not fit the first time, in the process of improving the fit and holding the vacuum for the vacuum bowl itself, I made some upgrades, as a result, the design itself came out normal, but it requires an individual approach, measurements and restructuring of the model for each case. For girls whose mammary glands have begun to form, I have not yet done options for a dome in the form of an hourglass, but if necessary, we will think together on this issue (there are certain difficulties with the form of holding silicone in analogues, it all sticks together - this is a very expensive pleasure and technology).
The cost of the bell in Ukraine came out to be about 25 - 35 euros
